Sheary Rose Eversole, aged 76, of Danville, Kentucky, died on June 17, 2026. She was born in Danville on June 25, 1949, to the late Johnnie and Mary Charles Boring Taylor. She was predeceased by two brothers, Sonny Taylor and Tony Taylor.

Sheary was a proud Danville High school graduate and worked for Phillips Lighting, and was a longtime member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. In her leisure time, she found great joy in family gatherings, shopping excursions, attending Caleb’s sporting events to cheer on the Wildcats and Admirals, and watching her favorite television show, Days of Our Lives.

Sheary is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Eversole, two daughters Theda “Sue” (Michael) Walls and Scarlett Ray (Brian) Huffman. She also leaves behind two brothers David (Patty) Taylor and Butch Taylor, her beloved grandchild, Caleb Tanner Huffman, who brought her immense joy, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Sheary will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm on June 22, 2026, at Gethsemane Baptist Church. A funeral service will be at 1 pm on June 23, 2026, at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Bro. Steve James officiating. Following the service, burial will be at Belleuve Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

  4. Sheary was such a sweet person who pushed through so many health obstacles for quiet some time. She was always so happy to be physically able to make it to church and always held her faith in God.
    She will be missed by many. Love you Sheary and many prayers for your loving husband Paul, your daughters, grandson. We will see you again when we see Jesus!!

  5. When I moved across the street Sherry welcomed me to the neighborhood. We often chatted a few minutes when we met at the mailbox, or she was standing or sitting outside. She told me she was ready when the Good Lord called her. I donated to Shriners Children in her memory as my brother was a Shriners child. Hallelujah you are hone. Thank you for being a sweet neighbor. My Condolences to the family.
