Rosalie Burton McElroy, 65, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Danville, KY. Born May 12, 1951 to Robert and Marian Burton, She was retired from postal Service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved reading, liked to watch NCIS, and Criminal Minds,loved playing with the children of the family. She is predeceased by a son Harold McElroy, a grandson Dustin McElroy, and a sister Roxann Downs. She is survived by her husband Edgar Lee McElroy Sr of Lancaster, KY, a son, Edgar Lee (Glennita) McElroy of Moreland, KY, two daughters, Thelma Bohle of Salem, IN, and Donna (Saul) Ramos of Lancaster, KY, three sisters, Sharon Hernandez and Carolyn Burton of Danville, KY, and Nellie Horick of Junction City, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Friday.
