Ronnie “Rube” Paul Burger, 61, died Monday, August 27, 2018. He was born in Danville on December 18, 1956 to the late Alton and Virginia Morine Burton Burger. Ronnie was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. He loved wood working, fishing and motorcycles.
He is survived by two sisters, Sandra (Danny) Cooper, Donna (Roger) Chadwell; one brother Dwain (Cheri) Burger of South Carolina; five nephews, Christopher (Rebecca) Burger, Billy (Gina) Rice, Steven (Misty) Rice, Travis (Melissa) Rice, Dale (Angie) Chadwell; one niece, Tonya (Troy) Watts.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. Junior Fields will officiate. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., prior to service on Thursday. Memorial donations are suggested to WDFB, Pleasant Run Baptist Church or Parksville Knob Independent Baptist Church.
Visitation: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., prior to service on Thursday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City

You will be missed Rube…
Will miss Ronnie. Fed him lunch a whole lot of days. When Jr was working on the new part of the church Ronnie was there almost everyday. He did all the wood trim around the ceiling. He would have to go out in his truck and plug his oxygen in for a while to have the breath to keep going, but he he did it. Praying he is in heaven breathing easy now.
