Ronalie Jean Smith, 87 of Danville died February 14, 2024. She was born March 15, 1936 in Summit, New Jersey to the late Eugene and Eleanor Rumpf Kelly. She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Jack” Smith. She was a loving, caring devoted  mother, and grandmother who adored her grandchildren. Ronalie loved to watch sports - all sports and was an avid UK fan. In recent years she kept busy knitting scarves and gave them all away. More than anything she loved spending time with her family, out to eat or just spending the day together.  She is survived by her children Julie (Tom) Warren of Perry, Ohio, Susan (Bryan) Horn of Danville and Craig (Cathy) Smith of Danville, her grandchildren Jason (Amy) Warren, Brandon (Megan) Warren, Patrick (Sara) Horn, Matthew Horn, Kelly Jean Horn, Lauren (Kyle) Spurgeon, and Logan Smith, great grandchildren Reed Horn, Luke Horn, Carter Spurgeon, Kennedy Spurgeon, Hunter Warren, Colby Warren, Brooke Warren, Evan Warren, and Emery Warren, and her brother James Kelly of New Hampshire.  The funeral service will be 1pm, Monday, February 19, 2024 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville with Rev J. Timothy Mathis officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 1pm, Monday, February 19, 2024 at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be with her husband in Bellevue Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.
