Robert Forrest \"Bob\" Pingleton, 83, of Burgin, died Thursday, May 9th 2019. Born March 3, 1936, he was the son of Opal Kidwell and Arthur Jackson Pingleton. He worked for Whirlpool - Matsushita for 27 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved talking with friends and boating. He was preceded in death by his daughter Vickey Ann Pingleton, granddaughter Stephanie Drury, and his sister Gladys Dailey. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Pingleton; daughters Penny Patterson, Roxane Kephart, Sandy Lovelace and Beth Drury, siblings; Norma Jean King, Wayne Pingleton, Alice Ray, Freda Palmer, Lois Duncan and Debbie Sparks, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday with Rev. Andy Michaels and Bro. Harold Best at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pingleton, Jesse Kephart, Kyle Kephart, Chad Patterson, Trevor Drury, and Price Hunt. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army and Caswell Saufley American Legion Post #18. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children\'s Hospital.
