Richard A. Schoebel, 89, of Danville died October 26, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born February 6, 1928 in Ohio to the late J. Fred and Emma Seyfried Schoebel. He was a veteran of the United States Army, an avid UK sports fan, Cleveland Browns fan, and a retired Lab Technician at Eaton Corp. Richard was a quiet, kind man who was always helping a friend and loved his family deeply. He is predeceased by two ex-wives, Patricia A. Schoebel, and Patsy Schoebel; a step-son Bobby Tatum; and a sister Jean Grover. Survivors include two daughters Pam Fulton and Jan Sowkulech, a son Rick J. (Terri Montgomery) Schoebel, step sons Gary (Vicki) Tatum and Timmy Tatum, a sister Lois (Don) Coffey, a brother Fred Schoebel, grandchildren Brett (Amanda) Schoebel, Tommy Taylor, Missy Chamblin, Jason Taylor, John Meadows, Chad Fulton, Autumn Fulton, Lisa Beard, and Brian Beard, a step-grandson that he raised Robbie (Kim) Tatum and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday at Stith Funeral Home with Rev. Brad King officiating. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army and American Legion Post #18. Visitation will be 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday at Stith Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice. Visitation: 4 - 6 p.m., Sunday at Stith Funeral Home Funeral: 11 a.m., Monday at Stith Funeral Home Interment: Camp Nelson National Cemetery

Uncle Ricahrd is with the father in heaven and is in no more pain and he is now with his heavenly family who passed on before him The reunion will be one of joy for them all.
