Rest in Peace, Coach Marshall. Your short time in Bristol at Virginia High School left a wonderful and everlasting memory with all who knew you. Thank you for sharing part of your wonderful life with so many of us Bearcats.
I am one of the many at Virginia High School that truly admired and respected Coach Marshall. Over the last 55+ years when talking with friends about VHS, there was always a story about Coach. I am sad that he has passed. Wonderful memories. Thanks Coach.

Sad to hear of Coach Marshall\’s passing. As a young man at Virginia High School in Bristol, he left a lasting memory of the great times I had with him coaching football and track. Prayers for his family and friends.
Condolences to Coach Marshall\’s family. He touched so many lives at VHS especially in the Sports field that he really enjoyed. He would make you stronger in whatever you pursued. Rest in Peace Coach.
Prayers for Nancy and family.
I ran for Coach Marshall on Virginia High School’s Track team. He taught me some of life’s most valuable lessons of loyalty, the need to be steadfast, and how hard work leads to self-confidence and success. I was only around Coach Marshall for a couple of years in high school, but he influenced my life in a way that very few people have. I am sad to hear that he has passed; there will always have a warm place in my heart for him.
