Peggy Jean Bander

Peggy Jean (Stevenson) Bander, 64, of Danville, Kentucky, died peacefully on Thursday, February 9, at 12:09 am at home with her husband and family by her side. She was born on October 4, 1958 in Lawrenceville, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Delbert E. Stevenson and Geneva Mae (Fiscus) Stevenson.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents and a brother Dick Stevenson all of Sumner, Illinois. Peggy was a member of First Baptist Church Perryville.  Peggy worked in retail sales, restaurants, and nursing homes for most of her life. Survivors are husband of 25 years Larry J. Bander; her children, Amy M. Ellison, Melissa S. Weir, and Brandon M. Cook; eight grandchildren, Kelly J. Ellison, Macy (Craig) Pietraszweski, Abagail J. Ellison, Hayden T. Craig, Ethanial M. Ellsion, Kyle T. Weir, Dylan M. Weir, and Memphis I. Cook.  Peggy\'s wishes were to be cremated and buried in Sumner Cemetery.
