Patricia R Smiley

Patricia Rae Smiley, 72, died on November 12, 2023. Born July 20, 1951, in Silver Spring, MD, she was the daughter of George and Grace Connors.  She was a graduate of the University of Maryland. She loved gardening and working in the yard and taking walks around Danville.  She was a homemaker and loved raising her three boys.  Patricia was a genuinely happy person and smiled all the time.  She is survived by her husband, Paul Smiley, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage this past summer.  She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Connors. In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by her sons, Owen Patrick Smiley (Molly), Kevin Thomas Smiley (Sarita Panchang) and Eric Paul Smiley (Rachel), her sister, Suzanne Muller, and grandchildren Ella, Liam, Landon, Ethan, Arjun and Carson. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.  Interment will be in Bellevue Cemetery.  An online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
