Nellie Sue Boyd Goode, 84, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020. She was born in Lincoln County on December 31, 1935 to the late Benjamin Harris and Addie Katherine Troxell Boyd. Nellie enjoyed sewing, baking, and reading the Bible. She loved her family and was all about her grandkids and great grandkids. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Josh Leonard Goode, Sr. She is survived by her son, Josh Goode, Jr. (Sharon) of Junction City; four daughters, Linda Price of Lawrenceburg, Patricia Smith and Phyllis Vinyard (Edward) both of Harrodsburg, Whitney Armstrong (Jacob); her sister Emma Jean Baker of Columbus, IN; five grandchildren, Kristal Price (Gary), Derrick Curtsinger (Candice), Michael Goode (Crista Daugherty), Patricia Cornett (Tim), Jennifer Heizer (Justin); fourteen great grandchildren, Carter Price, Tucker Price, Leyla Price, Aiden Price, Kailey Curtsinger, Riley Curtsinger, Ethan Curtsinger, Kaitlin Mertz, Tyler Cornett, Hannah Cornett, Austin Downs, Landyn Downs, Kamryn Downs, Jocelyn Downs and one great great-grandchild, Alana Downs. There will be a private family service due to Covid restrictions. Rev. Dan Trabuzio will officiate. Pallbearers will be Thomas Brogle, Michael Goode, Derrick Curtsinger, Tim Cornett, Justin Heizer, Jacob Armstrong. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. The service will be streamed at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Please sign the online guestbook or send a Hugs from Home.
