I’m thankful to have known Mildred. We belonged to the same clogging group many years ago and had so much fu and laughter. God’s blessings upon all of those who loved her 🙏🏻

Mildred Gibson Sharp, 85, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024. She was born on June 15, 1939, in Danville, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Anna Mae Bugg Gibson. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Herbert P. Sharp, Jr., and her sisters Shelby Jean Bottom, Joyce Day, and Magdalene Bunton.
Mildred was a dedicated homemaker, pouring her love and care into her family every day.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki (Ray) Sivis, her grandson Justin (Randi) Sivis, her great-grandchildren Journi Sivis and Weslyn Sivis, her sister Linda Gibson, brothers Roger (Phyllis) Gibson and Dennis (Emily) Gibson, and several nieces and nephews. Mildred’s kindness and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Private family services were held and she was buried with her husband at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
