Michael Allen Stratton, 65, transitioned from this life on October 25, 2023, and is now walking with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born October 24, 1958, to the late J.B. “Pete” and Lillian Stratton in Danville, Kentucky. Michael was an honored and patriotic United States Marine Corps Veteran where he served proudly as a Corporal. During his duty, he earned multiple honors and badges. He was employed through the Parksville Water District for many years. He was an avid motorcyclist and was very adventurous during his journeys. He was always there to lend a hand and was known as hard-working. “Mikey’s” smile and joy were as contagious as a “good” flu. He was adored by his grandchildren and was considered “the best dad and papaw ever.” God, his family and his country were of upmost importance to Michael. He was an active member and supporter of the family of Grace and Faith Ministries. Michael is predeceased by his parents, J.B. “Pete” Stratton and Lillian Stratton; brother, J.B. Stratton, Jr.; and true and amazing “brother” Duck Boblitt. Also surviving Michael are nieces and nephews, Jonathon Smock, Jonie (Rodger) Henderson, Stormy Huntsinger, Faith (David) Stoltzfus, Faith Bishop, Charity Browning, Avery Green and Carmen Green along with many great nieces and great nephews.
