Merrel Edward Pierce, II

Merrel Edward “Eddie” Pierce II, 63, died March 26, 2021 in Burgin. Born October 9, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Merrel Edward and Lolita Sadler Pierce. Eddie was a loving kindhearted person who would help anybody he could. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two stepbrothers, Teddy Moss and Andy Moss; and a stepmother, Betty Pierce. Eddie is survived by his wife, Misty Pierce; two daughters, Lolita Pierce Getman and Brittany Pierce Kirwin, both of Ohio; one son, Eddie Junior Pierce of Florida; four step-children, Jessica Rayburn, of Harrodsburg, Cody Poling, of Burgin, John Rayburn, of Danville, and Michael Rayburn, of Stanford; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Dusty Pierce, John Moss, Junior Moss, Philip Moss, all of Florida, Paul Pierce of Tennessee; four sisters, Theresa Pierce, Tina Pierce, Lori Pierce, Mary Ann Moss; and his beloved dog, Dozer. Memorial Service will be at 1 pm, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Shawn Durham will be officiating.
