Mary Lillie Rearic

Mary Lillie Logue Rearic, 83, of Danville died Friday March 20, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born October 29, 1936 in Harrodsburg, she is the daughter of the late Howard and Pauline Hardin Logue. Mary was a graduate of Rose Hill High School and the Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. She was a surgical nurse for many years with Drs. Daniels, Jackson and Cody and Moran, Romano and Horn. Mary loved to garden, flowers and vegetables, and she canned or pickled much of what she grew. She was a member of Eastern Star and the New Day Baptist Church in Harrodsburg. Mary was predeceased by her husbands, James Walter Sallee and Donald L. Rearic and two brothers, Howard Lynn Logue and Terry Lee Logue.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Billie Jo (Richard) Sullivan of Harrodsburg; two grandsons, Matthew Sullivan and Jonathan Sullivan and seven brothers and sisters, Daisey Mae James of Harrodsburg, Betty Violet Darland of Lexington, Virginia Rose (Larry) Matherly, Iris Jane (Harry) Wiley, James Donald Logue, Robert Ballard (Joyce) Logue and Buddy Glenn Logue, all of Harrodsburg.
There will be a private graveside service at Springhill Cemetery on Wednesday in accordance with the guidelines of the State of Kentucky. Pallbearers will be family members. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice, Order of the Eastern Star or your local food bank.

I don’t normally make comments but Mary was truly a great person that I loved very much. During these times that we are going thru it’s terrible that we can’t pay our respect that she deserves. Mary was like family to us and we are going to miss you and you will always have a special place in our hearts. We always looked forward to seeing her at church or in going to visit with her, sadly going to be missed

Mary was so kind to us when we made many trips to c dr Cody. She was so caring she will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

Loved Mary. Such a sweet and kind person and my youngest daughter always thought the world of her. She has been a client of mine for many years and was always such a pleasure to spend time with. Sure will miss our April visit!!
