Martina “Martie” Ginter Wilcher, 77, beloved wife of Jim Wilcher, died Friday, February 7, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lexington on December 15, 1942 to the late Claude and Lucille Mansfield Stoudemayer. Martie was a 1960 graduate of Junction City High School and worked as a transcriptionist for Bluegrass Comprehensive Care. In addition to her husband, Jim Wilcher, she is survived by a daughter, Daphne Dawn “DeeDee” Dotson of Baltimore, Maryland; a step-daughter, Katina Marie Hardin of Burgin, Kentucky; two brothers, Gary (Patricia) Ginter and Robert Dale Stoudemayer both of Danville; two sisters, Rhonda (Tommy) Mason of Stanford and Lisa Ginter; two step-grandchildren, Drake (Whitney) Hardin and Matthew Hardin and one step-great grandchild, Theodore Grayson Hardin. The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Barry Harmon will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gary Ginter, Rob Stoudemayer, Josh Wilcher, Jimmy Ray Claunch, Byron Ginter and Brian Wofford. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to Danville-Boyle County Humane Society or Healing Arts Animal Rescue in Centreville, VA. Visitation: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Burial: Danville Memorial Gardens.
