Mark William Quinton, 55, died October 9, 2021. He was born March 18, 1966, in Somerset, son of Maxine Dykes Quinton and the late Everet Wayman Quinton. Mark graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1984 and went on to obtain his Associates Degree from Spencerian College. He attended Forks of Dix River Baptist Church. Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wood working out in his garage. He loved spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his daughter, Olivia Quinton; and a brother, Steve Quinton. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ellen Marie Quinton; four daughters, Ashley Quinton of Lexington, Macie (Jacob) Groover of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Shalyn Quinton of Lancaster, and Jerika Quinton of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Khloe Greene, Liam Greene, and Maddox Greene; two sisters, Leasa (Johnny) Baker of Lancaster, and Sally Quinton of Crab Orchard; a brother, Mike Quinton of Eubank; two step-sisters, Jill (Terry) Smith of Franklin, KY, and Sharri (Mike) Condon of Danville, IN; a step-brother, Scott (Donna Watkins Rice) Mink of Camby, IN; his in-laws; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 pm, Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City followed by visitation until 5 pm. Rev. Jerry Browning will officiate the service. Memorial donations are suggested to the Kentucky Blood Center or Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. Please sign the guestbook or send a Hug from Home.
