Marilyn Crain Bonta, 83, of Danville, died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her home. She was born December 7, 1939 to the late Florene and Stewart Crain.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Roy Bonta, and three brothers; Warren Crain, Boyd Crain, and Kenneth Crain.
She is survived by a son, Clay (Mary Beth) Bonta; two daughters, Patti (Gary) Chidester, Ann (Rick) Carter; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Byron) Wall, Hannah Galloway, Ricky Carter, Emily (Chris) Baker, Kinley Bonta, Jacob Bonta, Sarah (Brad) Wall, Amanda Chidester; nine great-grandchildren; Titus, Elaina, Daulton, Amarae, Caleb, Jackson, Jacob, Addison, and Ava; one brother-in-law, Ray N. Bonta; and one sister-in-law, Sue Demeras.
The visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Thursday, August 18 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 19, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville, KY. Rev. Brent Rowe will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Bonta and Scott Galloway. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice and the Kentucky Talking Book Library.
Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville
Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Friday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville
Burial: Bellevue Cemetery
