Margie Loraine Sparks, 81, of Junction City died Thursday, July 4 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born May 10, 1938 in Newport, Ky, she was the daughter of Loraine and Louis Gene Schweitzer. She was the widow of Amos Sparks Jr. and a member of Junction City First Baptist Church. Margie love spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. The 4th of July was her favorite holiday because she would get to be with all her family. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Andrew Douglas Sparks. Margie is survived by nine sons and a daughter, David (Lorlyn) Sparks, Jerry (Tammy) Sparks, Steven (Gloria) Sparks, Barry (Mary) Sparks, John (Gail) Sparks, Ronald (Pat) Sparks, Charles (Diana) Sparks, Earl (Tanya) Sparks, Harry Sparks and Anna (Mike) Matherly; fifty-eight grandchildren, Charles Jr., Amos, Indga, Zackariah, Makayla, Hannah, Matthew, Kathleen, Nathen, Sierra, Destiny, Kolton, Kathy, Westley, John Jr., Tiffany, Travis, Leann, Matthew, Crystal, Bobby, Sarticha, Ronald, Keri, Harley, Jacob, Travis, Abby, Samantha, Nicole, Stephiene, Julie, Barry Jr., Charity, William, Tiffany, Darren, Kaylyn, Robert, Andy, Mary, Robert, Angel, Donny, Jeffery, Renee, Heather, Amanda, Astin, Christy, David Michael, Jamie, Mary Ann, Bonnie, Jerry Lee, Johnathon, Jeffery, Fay and seventy-seven great-grandchildren, Landon, Natalin, Kaiden, Dominick, Brian, Ave, Landon, Skyler, Lilyanne, Quinton, Symaya, Chrisiyah, Chris`lakiaia, Chris`chantae, Liam, Noah, Jacob, Josh, Matthew, Lily, Saburana, RJ, Nate, Bentley, Abbygail, Arron, Natalin, Nathan, Hope, Maxey, Kaylynn, Haylie, Anston, Natalie, Alyssa, CJ, Aryana, Makayla, Eli, Griffin, Brianna, Anglinea, Devin, Ethan, Alyssa, Anthony, Kylie, Aubree, Aaryn, Ryleigh, Keeana, Raylenn, Matto, KJ, Malaysia, Labrinna, Ahkayla, Brazil, Carter, Lena, Christipher, Tye, Ty, Robert, America, Angel, Emily, Ryan, K.K., Joden, Karlee, Ralph, Linda, Taddy, Christerher, Kimmie, Dago and five on the way. The funeral service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Choe Sargent will officiate. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Grandsons, Jacob, Ronnie, Darren, Robert, William, Barry Jr., Jeffery and Travis will be pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm., prior to the service.
