Margaret Alice Sobol

Margaret Alice Marksberry \"Margie\" Sobol, 81, died January 24, 2019. She was born March 15, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Edward Dewey and Margaret Burkhart Marksberry. Margie was a Bookkeeper for an auto parts supply store and a doll maker. She was a member of the China Painters\' Club in Louisville and Lexington and Centenary United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William P. Sobol, Sr. and her three sons, James Robert Sobol, Robert Edward Sobol and an infant son.
Margie is survived by her son William Sobol, Jr. of Danville and longtime companion Lawrence Hogue.
The family is honoring Margie\'s request and having a private graveside service. Rev. Scott C. Stith will officiate. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

Margie was one precious lady. Always had a smile on her face and a desire to help people. We were privileged to have her as a sister in our lives.
Margie donated one her beautiful painted plates to our girls for a fundraiser. She was so talented, generous, honest and a blessing for my parents to have as neighbors. Sincere condolences the Whited family
