Mack David Caddell, 75 of Junction City, died May 1, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born August 30, 1947, to the late Glenn Cecil and Iona Cox Caddell. Mack worked at Modine in Harrodsburg, was a member of Mt. Freeman Baptist Church, and was a 50 year member of the Franklin Lodge #28 F & AM. He was also a life-time member of the Boyle County Fish & Game Club, and a Junction City Volunteer Fire fighter when he was younger. Survivors include his wife Valorie Wilson Caddell, his daughter Sherry Caddell, his son Glenn Caddell, his brother John Cecil (Karen) Caddell; stepdaughter, Lisa Dunn, stepsons, Scotty Coffman and Ernest Griffitts; grandchildren, Kayla Hamilton and Zachary Asberry; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Caddell, Heaven Hamilton, Nevaeh Hamilton, Harper Gambrel, Bryson Asberry, Randy Asberry, Brooklynn Gambrel and Candace Gambrel; step grandchildren Tara Coffman, Tyler Coffman, Tamara Douglas, Shasta Dunn, Nicholas Dunn, Matthew Griffitts, niece, Savannah Gillespie, nephews, Matthew Caddell and Dylan Caddell, and one special dog, Princess. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City with Rev. Paul McFarland officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Coffman, Patrick Gillespie, Matthew Caddell, Dylan Caddell, Wiley Gambrel, and Jeff Asberry. Honorary pallbearers will be John Caddell, Gary Wayne Phillips, Lanny Coulter, Dennis Cox, Teddy Walker, David Peavler, Randy Orwig, Elwood Byrd, and Dr. David Overstreet. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, Heritage Hospice, or the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.
