Lillian “Jean” Thompson, 86, died Monday, June 19, 2023. She was born January 23, 1937, in Bryantsville, KY and was the daughter of late Elmer Keaton Crabtree and Melissa Katherine Coyle. She previously worked for M&M Café as a waitress. Jean loved to watch soap operas, reading and cooking. Above all, Jean loved her family greatly and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Kelly Thompson; children, John Edward Coyle, Brian Keith Spoonamore, Julie Anne Hale; granddaughter, Victoria Spoonamore; and brothers, Donald Dean Crabtree, John Thomas Crabtree and Elmer Keaton Crabtree Jr. Jean is survived by her children, William Charles (Marlene) Spoonamore, Donna Karen (Donald) Taylor and Linda Spoonamore; sisters, Sylvia Rowland and Annetta (Freddie) Hogue; grandchildren, O.J. (E.J.) Spoonamore, Teasha (Chase) Carter, Jermaine Buster, Kelly (Jeremy) Wolbarsht, Shannes Spoonamore and Aleko Spoonamore; and nine great-grandchildren, Tyler Herring, Olivia Wolbarsht, Aaliyah Spoonamore, Demetrius Spoonamore, Kingston Spoonamore, Claire Carter, Caciey Carter, DeVante Mays and Mykel Harris, a grandpup Zorro and grandcat Katie. . Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, Kentucky. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. following the visitation with Rev. Steve Sleeper officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Donald Taylor, O.J. Spoonamore, Jeremy Wolbarsht, Aleko Spoonamore, Tyler Herring, and Demetrius Spoonamore. Visitation: 10am - 12pm, Monday, June 26, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Service: 12pm, Monday, June 26, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Burial: Danville Memorial Gardens.
