Laura Lee Phillips Hall, 79, of Junction City died Thursday, September 12, 2019. Born in Paris, KY on November 4, 1939 to the late John Washington and Elizabeth Lee Worthington Phillips. Laura was a member of First Baptist Church in Junction City. Laura loved her family, she loved people she loved her church, but most importantly she loved her Lord and savior. She lived a life to please and honor him. Laura opened her home and her heart to many people through the years. She was a caregiver and has been caring for people in her home for 30+ years. She believed in being the hands and feet of Jesus and this showed in how she always put others before herself. She loved her children and her grandchildren immensely. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward Franklin Hall; her two sons, Edward Lee Hall and Tony Allen Hall, Sr.; one granddaughter, Miranda Kay Hall; and her sister, Lydia Curtis.
She is survived by her daughters, Ramona Sorrells of Cusseta, AL, Kimberly Johnson of Parksville, Tammy Preston of Junction City and Niki Wiles of Danville; her son, Jeffrey W Hall of Junction City; her brother, Benny Phillips of Georgetown, OH and several grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City with Rev. Darrel Hahn officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 pm Sunday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
