Kenneth Wade Downs, 53, died January 13, 2020 in Danville. Born February 16, 1966 in Hyattsville, MD to May Downs Blair and the late Eugene Downs. Kenny was in the United States Army. He worked as a driver for Bluegrass Transit and as an upholster for National Furniture. Kenny loved his family. He was a huge supporter of Donald Trump. Kenny also loved to work, the military, and to play golf.
He is survived by his son, Justin Martin Downs; his partner, Debi Whitlow; his mother, May Downs Blair; two brothers, Jerry Downs, Timmy Downs, Michael Downs; and three sisters, Terry Sparks, Mary and Melanie.
The funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 pm – 7 pm Monday, January 20, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project.
