Kathy Irene Douglas, died on May 28, 2026, at the age of 63. Kathy was born on January 20, 1963, in Versailles, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Virginia Turner. Kathy later spent her final years in Danville, Kentucky.
Kathy was a vibrant and independent woman who dedicated her life to her family and her work. She loved her role in logistics at McClane. Kathy was a woman who embraced every moment, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, passionately seeking out treasures at yard sales, thrift stores, and flea markets. Kathy loved fishing and spent countless hours enjoying the great outdoors, especially during her cherished visits to Muddy Pond in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Kathy is survived by her three devoted sons, Eric Dale Douglas, Bryan Scott Douglas and Kevin Caudle. She is also survived by her grandchildren Natalie Underwood, Henry Douglas, Danielle Renee, and Lela Cruz. Along with two great grandchildren and her partner, Russel Strang. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at a later date.
Kathy Irene Douglas will live on in our hearts, and her legacy of love and laughter will inspire us always.
