Kathleen Ann Wertz

Kathleen Ann Wertz, 69, of Danville, Kentucky, died Friday, June 9, 2017. Born July 12, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Jane F. Kloentrup. Kathy was a retired Collections Manager with Beto & Bogardus. Kathy is survived by two sons, John W. (Gina) Crowe, III, of Florence, Kentucky, and David (Nicki) Crowe of Liberty Township, Ohio, a step-son, Jay (Kathy) Wertz of Cincinnati, Ohio, two step-daughters, Kelly (Kevin) Harris of Palestine, Texas and Jennifer L. Wertz of Rockford, Michigan, two brothers, Kevin (Linda) Kloentrup and Pat (Patricia) Kloentrup, five grandchildren, Jamie, Kara, and Kyle Crowe, and Ben and Scott Sabelhaus, and one great-grandchild, Bryson Caudill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Robert Wertz. The Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Danville. Father Alan Carter will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will be at 1 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, Kentucky.
