Judy Gale Gatliff Grant, 72, died Monday, January 14, 2019 in Spring Hill, Florida. Born on January 15, 1946 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Moses Edward and Betty Selch Gatliff. Judy was a graduate of Boyle County High School.  She was an accountant and bookkeeper for several agencies in Kentucky and Florida and a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  She loved family get-togethers, the beach, boating, sunsets and all that was good in life. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Mark Anthony Grant, her siblings Ronnie Gatliff, Marie Simpson, Ethel Hageley, Bo Gatliff, Marion “Lag” Gatliff and Mary Mackey. Judy is survived by her son, Charles G. Grant of Tampa, Florida, her sister, Ann Johnson and brother, Billy Gatliff, both of Danville and her former husband, Charles L. Grant of Spring Hill, Florida and several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be 11a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Father Alan Carter will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Danny Caldwell, Charlie Caldwell, Vance Curtsinger, T.J. Marksbury, Carl Harmon, Daniel Ramey and Brian Gatliff. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation:  9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville Funeral Mass:  11a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Burial:  Bellevue Cemetery

  1. So saddened to hear of Judy\’s passing, was just speaking of her a couple of weeks back… I used to do her hair, she will be missed.

  2. Judy & I started 1st grade together in the barracks in 1952. We spent lots of time together. My heart goes out to her family.. RIP
