Joyce Oakley

Joyce Ann Keith Oakley, 56, died on June 20, 2022.  She was born in Monterey, Kentucky on March 31, 1966, daughter of the late James Daniel and Mary Genevine Wheeler Keith.  Joyce loved fishing, gardening, horses, crocheting and her grandbabies.  She was also an accomplished painter and remodeler. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, James Wesley Oakley; and granddaughter Karma Oakley. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Ann Oakley from Harrodsburg, KY; two sons, James Daniel Oakley from Alabama, and Jeremiah Wesley Oakley from Frankfort, KY; brother, Ronnie Powell of Frankfort, Ky; and ten grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mikeal, Brooklyn, Dalton, Trystyn, Mya, Shyanne, Malachi, Isabella, and Jayden. Gathering of friends and family will be at 10 am, Monday, June 27, 2022 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville with a funeral service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Raven Creek Cemetery in Harrison County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Michael Shular, Jeremiah Oakley, Brian Bowling Jr., William Richardson, and Joshua Bowling.
