Joyce Koon Wofford

Joyce Kay Wofford, 43, passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 43 in Bronston, KY. Born in Danville, KY, on January 21, 1981, to Sue Ann Koon and the late J.C. Koon. She attended Boyle County High School, was a lover of country music and had a special fondness for animals, always spreading warmth and joy to those around her. Her memory will be cherished by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Joyce is survived by her mother, Sue Ann Koon, her children Jake Aaron (Jessica) Koon, Trevor Dean (Michelle) Wofford, Bailey Jay (Kelsey) Wofford, Lacie Annemarie (Jeremy) Wofford, her sisters Crystal Williams, Jolene Koon Brandy and her grandchildren Grayson Koon, Tucker Koon, Kamdyn Koon, Hunter Joseph, Bella Joseph, Braxton Wofford, Kason Wofford, and Ryleigh Wofford.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday August 13, 2024 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City with Pastor Tony Christian officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.

Joyce Kay Wofford will be remembered for her compassionate spirit and the love she shared with everyone she encountered. She will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her presence. May she rest in peace.
