John Alan Montgomery

John Alan Montgomery, 71, died on January 14, 2021 at his home in Danville, Kentucky. He was born in Danville on October 25, 1949 to John Montgomery and Margaret Williams Montgomery. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and served as Sergeant in the United States Air Force for twenty years. He then worked for Caterpillar until he retired. John loved HAM radios and anything electronic. He enjoyed movies, music, gardening and especially model airplanes and model cars. He is predeceased by his brother Michael; his sister Joanna; and his daughter Amy John is survived by his wife Lakrisha Michelle Ramsey Montgomery; his sons John Christopher Montgomery, Richard (Ashley) Montgomery, and Robert Montgomery; his stepson Keilan Bivins, and his 6 grandchildren.
