May you rest in peace
Longtime friend, for some reason he put up with. I\’ll miss him and his smile and that twinkle in his eyes. Fly home my friend.
Rest in peace Johnny.
Sorry John was a friend!!
John was known to his elementary classmates as “Johnny Biy.” His mother was our first grade teacher. We enjoyed our friendship with Johnny. He was a lot of fun.
My deepest sympathy
So sorry to hear of Johnnys passing. I was out of town and just heard about his passing Tuesday. I grew up in streamland in Danville and Johnny and his parents lived down the street. I always looked up to Johnny and his parents would take me to all tha Danville away games to watch him play. Johnny always made time for me and use to take me around in his car. His family was always so gracious to me and his brother in law Charles Thomas gave me a job in the summer months around my baseball schedule to make some extra money. Great times with a great family and a close friend in Johnny. I think about those times often.
