Just a precious soul. I will miss you so much at church. Im praying for your precious family
You may not have been my biological dad, but you raised me and loved me as your own daughter. You were always there, through every season of my life. Some of my favorite memories will forever be singing together at church, talking for what felt like hours in the Walmart parking lot, spending the night at your house with you and the other kids, and making memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.
When my mom passed away, you became my rock. You were the one who helped me through one of the hardest times of my life. I never imagined I would have to face another day without you here too.
I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to do life without you. My heart is broken, but I’m thankful for every hug, every conversation, every laugh, every lesson, and every moment we shared. Thank you for loving me as your own and showing me what unconditional love looks like.
Heaven gained an incredible man, and while I know you’re no longer in pain, that doesn’t make missing you any easier. I take comfort in knowing you’re reunited with Mom and resting in the arms of Jesus.
Until we meet again, I’ll carry your love and the memories we made with me every single day.
Enjoy Heaven. We will miss you more than words could ever say. I love you forever.
Jody was such an inspiration and will be missed. I remember the last few weeks when it took everything he had in him to be in church and to worship His Lord. He didn’t feel good and had every reason to stay home, yet he didn’t. He still came to praise the Lord. Now, He is no longer in pain and is resting in the arms of His Savior that He couldn’t wait to meet.
Our hearts are heavy and will miss you, but we rejoice that we will join you one day. We love you, brother. Your legacy will live on, and we will help watch over your family. I hate I never got those bass lessons…. 😉
Words can feel so small in moments like this, but I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine the grief you are carrying, and I hope you will lean on one another for strength, comfort, and love in the days ahead.
Jody, will be remembered with love, and the impact of his life will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May the memories you shared bring you moments of peace, and may God surround your family with comfort and grace. My friend has run the race and has finished, the course. Those were Paul’s words he wrote. I know my friend, Jody is at total rest today. God bless all family and friends!!!
