Jo Anna Roney Curtis

Jo Anna “Jodie” Roney Curtis, 90 of Danville, died peacefully May 12, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Jo Anna was born to the late Raymond and Lucille Roney on December 19, 1934, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She worked as a clerk for the City of Danville, contributing to her community with unwavering dedication.

Jodie was a beloved mother, cherished friend, and dedicated public servant. A long-time member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Jodie found strength and solace in her faith and fostered a loving environment for her family.

Jodie’s life was characterized by her devotion to her family, her friends, and her work. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, warm heart, and the countless lives she touched throughout her lifetime.

The family had private time according to her wishes.
