Jennifer Christine Hargis Knies, 37, died on June 19, 2022, in Danville. Born on December 18, 1985, in Danville, she was the daughter of Billy and DeAnna Hargis. Jennifer was a member of the 2004 graduating class of Boyle County High School and a rehab intake worker. She loved her children, her family, and friends. Jennifer was outgoing, caring and trusting (maybe too much), comical, loved Reese’s Cups, and loved animals. Some day she hoped to win the lottery and buy an elephant.
In addition to her parents Jennifer is survived by her children, Aubrey Hargis, Joseph Knies, Austin Carmyne Knies, Kaydince Christine Knies and Evan Bailee Hargis; brothers, Robert (Kim) Hargis and Theodore “Teddy” (Tea) Hargis; and her husband Joshua Aaron Knies.
Public visitation will be 11am to 1pm, Friday, June 24, 2022 with the service to follow at 1pm, at Perryville Baptist Church, Perryville, Ky. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Hargis, Teddy Hargis, Will Carney, Steve Albritton, Andre, Alcorn, Brandon Fearing, and Matt Fearing. Honorary pallbearers are Pete Coyle and the Deacons of Perryville Baptist Church.
Visitation: 11 am - 1 pm, Friday, June 24, 2022, Perryville Baptist Church, Perryville, Kentucky
Funeral Service: 1 pm, Friday, June 24, 2022, Perryville Baptist Church, Perryville, Kentucky
Burial: Bellevue Cemetery
