Jeanith Arlene Hawkins

Jeanith Arlene Dunavan Hawkins, 85, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019.  She was born in Shelbyville, KY on March 3, 1933 to the late Bailey Colbert and Margie Bernice Williams Dunavan.  Arlene was a member of First Baptist Church.  She was a stay at home Mom and enjoyed her home.  Arlene was a devoted wife and loving mother.  She enjoyed collecting cut glass.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Harold L. Hawkins and a half-brother, Julian Dunavan. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Evans of Danville. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.  Rev. Odis Clark will officiate.  Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.  Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday, prior to the funeral service at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
