Jane M. Couture

Jane M. Letourneau Couture, 88, died on September 29, 2024.  She was born on December 9, 1935, in Graniteville, Vermont to the late Arthur and Agnes Letourneau.  Jane was a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  She was a strong, loving mother and devout Catholic.  Jane loved the outdoors, flowers, reading, travelling and shopping.  She loved her pets, especially her dog, Lala and her cat, Gaylord.  She was a great cook and loved cooking for her family.  In addition to her parents Jane was predeceased by her husband Marcel, a son Marcel (Denise), a grandson, Scott Perreault, sister, Claire Bogan, and a son-in-law, Allen Hannaford.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Sandra Perreault, Renee Couture, Paula (John) Hannaford Siddens, and Marie (Scott) Bolling, sons, Richard (Diane) Couture, David Couture, Steve (Debbie) Couture, and Donald Couture, grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Jacobs, Nicole Perreault, Christopher Couture, Ryan Hannaford, Erin (Zachary) Lauer, Emily Couture, Hannah (Jordan) Ballard, Alison (Nathan) Beckham, Jennifer (Timothy) Stumph, Melissa Couture, Ashley Couture, Tori (Ross) Embry, Megan (Jon) Bradley, Chad (Lauren) Couture, Adrianna Couture, Katie (Grant) Cotchen, Andrew (Taylor) Couture, and Elizabeth (Steven) Scavo, 29 great-grandchildren, and her brother Robert Letourneau.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Pallbearers will be Christopher Couture, Zachary Lauer, Andy Couture, Steven Scavo, Chad Couture, and Jon Bradley. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 pm to 7 pm on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.  An online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
