Jack Charles Farthing, born August 9, 1947, died suddenly at home Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was the son of Eva Craig Farthing and the late Harrison Charles Farthing. He was preceded in death by a son, Tab L. Farthing and a brother, Jim Farthing. Jack was a graduate of Burgin High School and attended Campbellsville College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jack was retired from the construction trades and had owned a tavern in Lawrenceburg. Jack is survived by his wife, Margaret Glen Curtis Farthing; his mother, Eva Farthing and a brother, Jerry (Connie) Farthing; two nephews and a niece. At his request, services were private at Stith Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle Co. Humane Society. Private Services

  1. Margaret Glen, We are so very sorry for your loss. I guess the last time we saw Jack was at your home following your Mother\’s funeral. We had such a good visit with Jack and Tab. Tab was such a wonderful young man. He showed us what your Dad had told him about our ancestors. Things I had not yet found. What a great guy. You must have been a terrific Mom!
