Howard “Gomer” Keith Case, 58, passed away on November 7, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ernest and Doris Case on August 17, 1965. Gomer worked in construction, carpentry, and auto mechanics and was a handyman. He loved fishing, racing, University of Kentucky basketball, and NASCAR. He helped everyone around him and had a very straightforward personality. Gomer attended Worldstown Road Church of God. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Loretta Case. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Case; children, David (Amber) Swinney, Daniel (Frankie Jo) Swinney, Tyler (Vera) Case, Amanda Thompson, and Teresa (Allan) Roberts; siblings, William Case, David Case, Patricia Welch and Sandy Watts; grandchildren, Makenzie, Skyler, Arianna, Addy, Brayden, Layden and Braxten; and beloved dogs, Peanut and Lil’ Bit. The visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Jody Coontz officiating.
