Harold Dean Yeiser, Sr., 91, died Monday, January 1, 2018. Born October 4, 1926 in Owensboro, KY, he was the son of the late Anna Logan Brown and Kirtley M. Yeiser, Sr. Dean served in the United States Navy during World War II. He attended Business School and was a business service tech for South Central Bell, Bell South, AT&T in Owensboro and Lexington before moving to Danville. He retired from Lucent Technologies. Dean a member of First Baptist Church and also loved to woodwork, making a variety of beautiful things. Dean loved to travel and gave God credit for all the good in his life. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Redlin, two sisters, Etta Jane Sheetz and Anna Frances Arflack, a brother, Joseph Daniel Yeiser and a grandson, Ryan Gregory Yeiser. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Juanita Gregory Yeiser; a daughter, Jean Ann Yeiser of Danville; three sons, Harold D. (Lynda) Yeiser Jr. of Frankfort, George Gregory (Chastity) Yeiser of Richmond, Larry A. (Brenda) Yeiser of Waverly, Tennessee; a sister, Ada Myrl Ecton of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother,, Kirtley Yeiser, Jr.of Utica; nine grandchildren, Monica Eversole, Melanie (Patrick) Yeiser-Deming, Stephen Redlin, Sara (Jake) Logan, Kimberly (Clay) Rhinehart, Kaitlin Yeiser, Jack Yeiser, Anna (Scott) Dinsmore, Maddie Brewer, and five great-grandchildren, Jacob Burris, Justin Eversole, Brooke Eversole, Aubree Rhinehart and Kylee Rhinehart. The funeral service will be at 1 pm, Friday, January 5, 2018, at First Baptist Church, Danville. Rev. Tim Mathis and Rev. Jerry Lester will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jacob Burris, Jake Logan, Patrick Deming, Clay Rhinehart, Steve Redlin and Justin Eversole. Honorary pallbearers will be Leland Gregory and Sam Harkins. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Thursday and after 12 pm Friday at First Baptist Church. Memorial donations are suggested to The Gideon’s International. Funeral Service: 1 :00 p.m., Friday January 5 at First Baptist Church Visitation: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 12:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church
