Guy Ancle Noel, 86, died on June 23, 2024. He was born on Aug. 28, 1937, to the late Clyde and Ruby Raikes Noel. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Freda Vandyke Noel; daughters and their husbands Angela (Bill) Russell and Tammy (Guy) Coontz, son in law Joe Lane; brothers Bobby Noel and Randell Noel.

Guy was a retired bricklayer. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and watching UK basketball games. He was a very gentle, loving, and kindhearted man. He was soft-spoken but could build anything with his hands and always provided for his family. Guy adored his family and loved playing with his grandchildren, he will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Teater Noel; daughters Dereatha Lane, Kimberly (Joe) King, Diane Teater, and Joshua Smith; brothers Owen (Helen) Noel, and Joe (Carolyn) Noel; sister Mary Mcguire; grandchildren Robert Lane, Amy Snow, Leslie Lay, Chris Russell, Justin King, Dwayne Teater, Cierra Madden, and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 pm, Monday, July 1, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City with Bro. Jody Coontz officiating. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm, Monday, July 1, 2024, before the service at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Pallbearers will be Robert Lane, Chris Russell, Justin King, Jacob Lay, Joseph Lay, and Dwayne Teater. The honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Coyle, Robert Snow, Travis Lane, Hank Snow, and Jeffry Snow. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

  5. Sorry to hear that Guy has passed I have a lot of memories with Guy and Noel’s family. Randall was my best friend up until his death about 6 years ago. I would spend a lot of time with the family in the evening and on weekends at the old house on Faulkner Lane. Guy was a good man and friend
