Gregory "Greg" Boynton

Gregory “Greg” Phillip Boynton, 62 passed on March 22, 2024. Born on August 13, 1961, in Orlando, FL, to Jean W. King and the late Fred Richard Boynton Jr., he was preceded in death by his father and his brother Jim.

After high school Greg worked for Asplundh Tree Service until he became co-owner of Boynton Auto Salvage and Wrecking, handling daily operations for several years. Later in his career he designed and detailed various tooling for NASA and the Boeing Group.

Greg enjoyed fishing, reading books, drinking his coffee, and classic cars.

He was a family-oriented man finding time to balance his family life, his dedication to God and his church, as well as both his hobbies and friends. He was a man who showed much strength, courage, incredible endurance, and determination to overcome the many obstacles since childhood.

He is survived by his son; Dylan Boynton, mother, Jean King Boynton; his grandchildren; Alyssa Grimes, Colton Boynton, Karisma Loy, and Karaleigh Stokes, siblings; Sue Boynton, Judy Boynton, Rick and Nancy Boynton, Angela Boynton, and Jennifer (David) Salsman, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., March 28, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City followed by a Celebration Service at 3 p.m., March 28, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home with Rev. Monty Carney officiating.
