Gerald Henry Lowry

Dr. Gerald Henry (Jerry) Lowry passed away on Sept. 5, 2020 at the Willows of Harrodsburg at the age of 83. Born April 27, 1937 in Covington, Ky., he was the son of the late Florence Bruck Lowry and William Lowry. He graduated from Beechwood High School and attended the University of Kentucky before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. He practiced for 50 years as a Veterinarian.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Conley Lowry. He is also survived by two sons, Kevin (Ellie) Lowry, Jeremy (Naomi) Lowry and three daughters, Beth (Allen) Scarber, Alison (Peter) Horne and Amy (Mark) Bannon. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral mass will be private for family and close friends. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or Heritage Hospice..
