George Burdette Wilhite
June 14, 1943 ~ February 10, 2022
George Burdette Wilhite, 78, departed this life to be with his heavenly father on February 10, 2022. George was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on June 14, 1943, to the late Chester Ray and Christine Burdette Wilhite. He was a graduate of Bate High School and entered the United States Air Force serving from 1968 to 1972. George obtained a degree from National College of Business in Medical Coding & Billing, Computer Technology and Business. He retired as an Engineer from Norfolk Southern Railroad and took pleasure in working at Silver Lining Stables after retirement. He was also a member of the Buffalo Soldiers MC of KY. George loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by Son, Andre\' Wilhite, Three brothers, William H. Wilhite, Charles E. Wilhite and Chester R. Wilhite Jr., three sisters, Mary L. Wilhite, Sarah Porter, Helen Hunt, and grandchildren, Derward Garr and Charles Evans, Jr.
He is survived by his life partner, Carolyn Jean Downs of Danville; four sons, Deryck Wilhite (Jennifer) of Harrodsburg, Michael Garr (Erica) of Lexington, Tyson Hall (Michelle Cashara) of New York, Bradley McGill of Danville; three daughters, LaToya Wilhite of Arizona, Pamela Wilhite of Kansas, Tina Fisher (Alphonzo) of Louisville; three brothers, Thomas Wilhite of Danville, Harold Wilhite (Christine) of Harrodsburg, John Lee Wilhite of Detroit (Ann), two sisters Barbara Wilhite of Minnesota, Cairlyne Thomas of Virginia (Roosevelt); sixteen grandchildren, Ashleigh Wilhite, Devarrion Garr, Remonica Garr, MaKiah Garr, Theaden Garr, Tyson Hall, Jr., John Hall, Cortney Clark, Jeante’ Wilhite, Lynnell Brown, Lendel Brown III, Elizabeth Brown, Christopher Starks, Jayden Wilhite, Jhaimeya Hunt, Ximani McGill and six great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 11:30 am, Friday, February 25, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City, KY. Rev. Linda Bunton will officiate. Private family burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lendel, Christopher, Jayden, Tyson, Deryck, & Brad. Honorary pallbearers will be his beloved grandchildren as well as George\'s Children. Visitation will be 10 am – 11:30 am, Friday, February 25, 2022, prior to the service.
