Gaston Lee Rose, 84, of Danville died June 11, 2019. Born in Pineville, Ky. On August 7, 1934, he was the son of the late Richard and Gracie Asher Rose. He retired as Vice President of Asplundh Tree Company after a career of 44 years. Gaston was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church in Pineville. He was a member of Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Gaston was married to his wife, Mary Brock Rose for 65 years and said, “she has been the boss for 65 years”. He was predeceased by four brothers, Henry, Harold, Roy and Larry Rose and three sisters, Norma Daniels, Hettie Warren and Martha Neal. In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by a daughter, Gail (Tom) Ballew of Winter Springs, Fla. and two sons, Randall Lee Rose and Timothy M. (Karen) Rose both of Danville; two sisters, Faye (Don) Mills of Middleburg, Fla. and Cindy (Mike) Wilson of Pineville, Ky.; two brothers, Arthur Ray (Linda) Rose of Taylor, Michigan and Jerry (Mary) Rose of Pineville, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 13th at Danville Memorial Gardens. Brother David Rice will officiate. The family requests that memorial donations be sent to WDFB Radio Station, 3596 Alum Springs Road, Danville, KY 40422. Graveside Service: Thursday, June 13, 2019 11 a.m., Danville Memorial Gardens
