Gary Wayne Record, 71, died May 19, 2020 in Parksville, Kentucky. Born February 22, 1949 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Earl Leonard Record and Dorothia Marie Abbott. Gary was a member of First Baptist Church Parksville; he was a 1967 graduate of Boyle County High School and enjoyed being on his farm working the beef cattle that he raised. Gary was also a member of the Marine Corp League and DAV. He was a truck driver for 26 years and traveled all over the country. He is predeceased by his father, Earl Leonard Record and brother; Bueford Leonard Record. He is survived by his 100 year old mother; Dorothy Record, sons; Marty Leonard (Kristi) Record, Bradley Wayne (Mandi) Record, his sister; Barbara Compton, grandchildren; Josh Weisener, Tristan Record, Logan Thompson, Landon Record, Corey Craig, Braylan Kidder, and Kiley Martin and special friend; Peggy Arnold. Pallbearers will be Jerry Farmer, Rocky Cash, Mike Record, Josh Weisener, Logan Thompson, Corey Craig, Tristan Record, and Landon Record, the honorary pallbearers are Braylan Kidder, Kiley Martin and John McDermott. A visitation will be held Monday, May 25, 2020, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Service will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020, 11 a.m. Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Burial to follow at Camp Nelson. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Caswell Saufley Post #18.
