Floramae Donley

Floramae Donley, 89, of Junction City, formerly a resident of Tilghman, MD, died at her daughter’s home on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Born in Donora, Pa, on November 13, 1930, she was the daughter of Mildred and John Arthur Ferner. She attended the Philadelphia Presbyterian School of Nursing and served for 25 years as a police matron and dispatcher for the Harvey Cedars and Ship Bottom, New Jersey police departments.
Floramae is survived by her daughters, Karen Logue (David) and Kathi Young (Justin) and a son, William Young of New Jersey; grandchildren: Kelly Logue, Krissi Fields (Nikki) and Kristian Logue (Heather); great-grandchildren: Jordan and Joshua Fields; Kaleb, Connor and Colston Logue. Floramae is also survived by her loving caregiver, Tara Lamie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Junction City United Methodist Church. Pastor Kyle Long will officiate. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., prior to the service. Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.
