Everett Patrick (Pat) Whited, 72, of Danville passed away Thursday, October 5th, 2023. He was born March 19, 1951, to the late Everett and Grace Hatfield Whited of Casey County.
Pat was an Army Veteran, serving 2 tours in Vietnam. Law enforcement became his career, and he retired after 20 years with the City of Danville. He went on to work with the Administrative Office of the Courts and later became a USPS rural mail carrier, a job he enjoyed and held until a week before his passing.
He is survived by his wife Becky; daughter, Kasey Whited Wilson; and two adored granddaughters, Jennifer and Katie Wilson. Also surviving is a sister, Sherry Parrot of Lebanon and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Hale and brothers, Ron, Bill, Tony and Gary Whited.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023, also at Stith Funeral Home in Danville with Tom Huckleberry officiating. Interment will be at Bellevue Cemetery following the funeral service.
Serving as pallbearers are Mike Hale, Melissa Richards, Thomas Cravens, Scott Bottoms and Karl Luttrell.
Visitation: 5pm - 7pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
Service: 11am, Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
Burial: Bellevue Cemetery.
