Evelyn Hansen

Mrs. Evelyn Hansen, age 85, passed away on October 11, 2023. Evelyn was born in Praise (now Elkhorn City), KY to Clinard Kendrick and Flora Kendrick. Evelyn married Anders Hansen in Elkhorn City, KY and lived their married life in East Detroit, until retiring to Danville, KY. Evelyn was a retired Regional Director for the Southeastern Ohio Senior Companions Program and a former Licensed Practical Nurse work with Senior Services. She enjoyed gardening when she was able and was a devout Christian. She was preceded in death by Clinard Kendrick (Father), Flora Kendrick (Mother), Anders Hansen (Spouse), Margarette Coleman (Sister) and Brothers: Tommy, Curtis, James and Elmer Dee Kendrick. She is survived by her sister Carolyn Sue Allen (Carl), Sister in Laws: Rebecca, Vonda and Renee Kendrick along her nieces and nephews. Public Viewing will be held Monday, 16th of October, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stith Funeral Home- Danville. Services for Mrs. Evelyn Hansen will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Stith Funeral Home- Danville. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery at 12:00 PM in Danville, Kentucky. Visitation: 5pm - 7pm, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Service: 11am, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Burial: Bellevue Cemetery
