Esther Deloris Sallee

Esther Jones Sallee, 84, of Danville died on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Born on January 10, 1935 in Oakdale, TN to the late Sidney and Lola Iona Rasnick Jones. She was a 1952 Danville High School graduate and a member of First Baptist Church. Esther worked as a seamstress for Palm Beach and Trim Masters. She loved to sew for her family. She enjoyed birdwatching and loved her cat, “Howie”. Esther supported Danville Wrestling and was a big UK basketball fan. Family meant everything to Esther. She is predeceased by her brother, Bernard Jones, Bartley Jones and Clayton Jones. She is survived by her son, Joey (Karyn) Sallee of Danville; five grandchildren, Nora Wells, Abigail (Keipher) McKenzie, Seamus Sallee, Morgan Sallee, Sam (Christian) Kuchenbrod and two great-grandchildren, Emma Wells, Cullen Kuchenbrod. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 4-8 pm, Friday November 1, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
