Erma Jean Kirby Morgan, 79, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018.  She was born in Bryantsville on December 5, 1938, daughter of the late William Henry and Janie Baker Kirby.  Jean was a 1956 Valedictorian graduate of Camp Dick Robinson High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University.  She retired from Danville Independent School District after twenty years as Registrar, Teacher\'s Aide and Guidance Clerk.  Jean enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling, especially to the beaches and loved her family dearly.  She loved her pets with the cats being her favorites.   Her vivacious demeanor brought her friends far and near.    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Morgan. She is survived by her children Theresa (Tom) Scott and Brian (Shayni) Morgan and two grandchildren, Rachel Morgan and Austin Morgan. The funeral service will be 1pm, Monday, April 16, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home.   Rev. Odis Clark will officiate.  Interment will be in Bellevue Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4pm, Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home.  Memorial donations are suggested to The Jean Morgan Magnolia Memorial Fund, Heritage Hospice or The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society.   1. Deepest sympathy to Jean’s family . I am a former manager of Constitution Square State Historic Site . It was always a pleasure to visit her when she was afiilated with the convention center located on the park . Rest In Peace dear Jean.

  3. Ms. Morgan was our neighbor for 9 years on Rolling Hills. She was always such a kind lady. Prayers to the family!!
