Eleanor Elaine' Travillian
August 11, 1947 ~ February 25, 2018
Eleanor Elaine Bicknell Travillian, 70, died Saturday, February 25, 2018, after a long illness. She was born in Danville on August 11, 1947 to the late Charles Edward and Virginia Stephenson Bicknell. Elaine was a 1965 graduate of Danville High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. After college, she worked as a medical transcriptionist.
She is survived by a daughter, Alecia Travillian Schaller of Danville; two grandchildren, Nate Travillian and Nolan Schaller; a sister Rebecca ‘Becky’ (John) Jackson of Aledo, Texas; and two aunts, Irene Griffiths and Jeanine Sharp of Danville. The family wishes to thank her doctors in Danville, especially Drs. Overstreet, Lacy, and White, as well as the staff at Ephraim McDowell for the excellent and compassionate care they provided.
The family suggests those so desiring to make a donation to their favorite charity in Elaine’s name. There was a private family graveside service at Bellevue Cemetery.
